Earth Mama would like to enlist your help in reframing Black Friday. We’ll go first. This year, Earth Mama will match donations, large or small, up to $5,000 to the National Association to Advance Black Birth made through Giving Tuesday. Why? So many reasons.
NAABB’s goal is to transform the national maternity system to advance the well-being of – and gain equity for – Black birthing persons in the US. Their vision is to have a world in which Black birthing persons:

Achieve their full birthing potential and thrive during the childbearing years

Have autonomy over their bodies; with optimal birth outcomes for Black women, babies and their communities

Increased options and opportunities for birth; and in which system change has brought about equitable healthcare.
Formerly known as the International Center for Traditional Childbearing, the NAABB stands firmly on ICTC’s 30-year legacy in promoting midwives, doulas and training programs to improve the care of Black women, persons and infants.
The funds donated to the NAABB/Earth Mama Organics Partnership will assist in funding Midwifery Scholarships and support the Black Birthing Bill of Rights.
